Aakash Saraiya

Aakash Saraiya is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in both medicine and venture capital. Currently serving as a Venture Fellow at Susa Ventures since September 2024, Aakash focuses on seed and pre-seed investing. Simultaneously, Aakash works as a Physician at Envision Healthcare and as a Medical Specialist at Google, contributing to various Google Health projects. Aakash has held multiple roles as an Angel Investor at Freedom Biosciences, Sully.ai, and OneImaging, demonstrating a strong commitment to supporting innovative health solutions. Previously, Aakash served as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and has experience in venture capital as a Venture Fellow at Triphammer Ventures, where Aakash sourced deals and conducted due diligence. Aakash also contributed to the USMLE First Aid Board Exam Review Series as an Associate Author while holding the position of VP of Industry Relations at MD++. Aakash holds an MBA from Cornell University and bachelor's degrees in Economics and Biology from Villanova University and Rowan University.
