John VonBokel

John VonBokel has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. John is currently working as a Principal Software Developer at Freedom Consulting Group, LLC. Since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Lead Software Developer at Marathon TS from 2020 to 2022. John also worked as a Software Developer at Leidos from 2018 to 2020 and at Boundless Spatial, Inc. from 2015 to 2018. Before that, they served as a Software Developer at Booz Allen Hamilton from 2012 to 2015, at SAIC from 2008 to 2012, and at L-3 Communications from 2007 to 2008. John started their career as a Software Developer at SAIC from 2005 to 2007 and then at IMAPS from 2003 to 2005. John began their professional journey as a Database Technician at Wyeth in 2002.

John VonBokel attended Effingham High School from 1993 to 1997. After completing high school, they enrolled at Lake Land College from 1997 to 1999, where they studied engineering. Following their time at Lake Land College, John transferred to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they pursued a degree in Computer Engineering from 1999 to 2001, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (BS).
