Marc Berry has a diverse work experience that spans over different industries. Marc started their career in 2007 as a Military Policeman in the US Army, serving for seven years and specializing in investigations while stationed in Germany. After leaving the military, they worked as a Corrections Officer at Southeast Corrections Missouri from October 2015 to March 2018, where they supervised offenders and ensured the safety of the institution.
In November 2015, Marc joined the Army National Guard as a Military Police officer and served until November 2018. During this time, they gained further experience in law enforcement.
In 2018, Marc transitioned to the software engineering field, working at SOS International LLC. Marc worked on various software platforms, utilizing technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, Java, Spring, Python, ArcGIS, ArcPy, and Django. Marc took a lead role in developing a Python tool that relied on ArcGIS, optimizing its efficiency significantly.
From April 2020 to August 2022, Marc worked as a Software Engineer at Marathon TS. Marc developed PIMS, a system for managing geometries and metadata related to CIB. Marc'sresponsibilities included data storage, retrieval, transformation, and the creation of intuitive data presentations for clients.
Currently, Marc is employed as a Software Engineer at Freedom Consulting Group, LLC. Since August 2022, they have been working on the development of WiSP, a system that manages the location data of POIs. This project aims to contribute to NGA's "Map of the World," requiring him to adapt to changing needs.

Marc Berry earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from American Military University, a four-year program that they completed from 2018 to 2022. In addition to their academic qualifications, Marc holds a Top Secret Security Clearance (TS-SCI) certification obtained in August 2014 from the United States Department of Defense.
