Richard Sharp

Richard Sharp has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Richard currently holds the position of Managing Director - Freedom Finance Mortgages Ltd at Freedom Finance Ltd, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Tandem Bank as the Managing Director Unsecured & Customer Proposition Director from 2018 to 2023. Before that, they were the Director at RMS Consultancy Ltd in 2018. From 2016 to 2017, Richard was the Managing Director - Trusttwo at Everyday Loans, where they played a key role in expanding the business and developing strategic plans. Earlier in their career, Richard held the position of Head of Consumer Lending (The Money Shop & PaydayUk/Payday Express) at Dollar UK from 2009 to 2016. Richard also served as the National Development Manager (WCF) at Cattles PLC from 2007 to 2009 and as an Area Manager at GE Capital from 2001 to 2003.

Richard Sharp attended Mid Warwickshire College from 1991 to 1993, where they pursued a BTEC National degree in Business and Finance. In February 2019, they obtained the FCA Approved Person (CF1/SMF3) certification from the Financial Conduct Authority.
