Dr. Malhar Ganla

Chief Innovation Officer at Freedom from Diabetes

Dr. Malhar Ganla has a diverse work experience across various domains and roles. Dr. Malhar started their career as a partner at Om Polyclinic, Pune in 2003. In 2012, they founded Freedom From Obesity, where they focused on helping children lead healthier lives through physical activity. Dr. Malhar also served as the Managing Director at School Sports Program Pvt. Ltd., where they advocated for reducing child obesity and promoting outdoor activities. Dr. Ganla is currently working as the Chief Innovation Officer at Freedom From Diabetes, where they are responsible for developing effective strategies for weight loss and transforming lives.

Dr. Malhar Ganla has a diverse education history in various fields. In 1999, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Dentistry from Bharati Vidyapeeth University. Following this, in 2007, they pursued a Diploma in Exercise Physiology from Stonebridge associated colleges in the UK. In 2008, they further expanded their knowledge by earning a Diploma in Sports Psychology from the same institution.

Continuing their education, Dr. Ganla completed a short course in Triathlon Coaching at the New Zealand Tri Association in 2010. In 2011, they enrolled at Auckland University of Technology, where they pursued a Master's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science.

Dr. Ganla also explored other subjects outside of their core domains. In 2020, they engaged in a creative writing program at the University of Oxford's Department for Continuing Education. Similarly, in 2017, they pursued studies in finance at LAMCON SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT PRIVATE LIMITED.

To enhance their skills further, Dr. Ganla acquired a Diploma in Design thinking from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2022.

Overall, Dr. Malhar Ganla has demonstrated a strong commitment to lifelong learning, continually expanding their knowledge and expertise in multiple disciplines.
