Sara D.

Sara D. is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in human resources and corporate operations. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer at Freedom Mortgage since November 2012, Sara has also held significant roles as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, overseeing all employee-facing departments. Previous positions at Freedom Mortgage included Vice President, where Sara initiated a comprehensive Vendor Management program, and Vice President of Vendor Management within the Residential Servicing division, where Sara established a CFPB-compliant vendor management framework. Prior to Freedom Mortgage, Sara held various legal and quality oversight roles in the mortgage and insurance sectors, including positions at Nationstar Mortgage and Aurora Bank FSB. Sara earned a Juris Doctor from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in English, Criminal Justice, and Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington.
