Caitlin Vogus is an accomplished legal professional specializing in advocacy for free expression and First Amendment issues. Currently serving as the Deputy Director of Advocacy at the Freedom of the Press Foundation since May 2023, Caitlin previously held positions including Deputy Director of the Free Expression Project at the Center for Democracy & Technology and Senior Staff Attorney at The Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, where responsibilities included litigating cases related to open records and media access. Caitlin's early career includes roles as an Attorney-Advisor at the Federal Communications Commission and Judicial Law Clerk at the Court of Appeals of Virginia. Caitlin earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from the University of Virginia.
