Zoe-Alanah Robert

Zoe-Alanah Robert is an accomplished Principal Software Engineer at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, focusing on building transparency tools within the Applied Social Media Lab since June 2024. Concurrently serving as a Web Developer for the Freedom of the Press Foundation, Zoe-Alanah has a rich background in software engineering, having held positions including Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineering Manager at Column from August 2021 to May 2024. With prior experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Facebook, Zoe-Alanah contributed to impactful projects such as a community-based help exchange platform and news personalization software. Additionally, Zoe-Alanah has taught computer programming at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences and served as a course assistant for computer science courses at Stanford University. Zoe-Alanah holds a Master of Arts in Interactive Media Arts from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and degrees in Computer Science from Stanford University.
