Heikki Rusama

Heikki Rusama has had a long and varied career in the tech industry. Heikki started as a Web Producer at Kotimaa-yhtiöt Oy in 2006, and then moved to Iltalehti in 2009. In 2012, they became a Web Producer at Alma Diverso, a Project Manager at Sanoma Digital, a Development Manager and Team Leader at Sanoma Digital Finland, and a Co-founder and Product Lead at SoundSling. In 2014, they were a Product Manager for Learning at Rovio Entertainment Ltd. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Product Owner at Sanoma Learning, where they led international co-development initiatives. In 2019, they became a Board Member at Edtech Finland. Currently, they are the Co-Founder and CEO of Freeed.com, a global teacher community for the best teaching ideas, methods and resources.

Heikki Rusama obtained a Master's degree in Educational Sciences from the University of Helsinki between 2002 and 2012. Heikki has also studied International Relations and Affairs at Lund University, and attended Tapiola Music High School.
