Grady Wagner has a diverse work experience in engineering roles. Grady recently joined Freeform as a Lead Mechanical Engineer in December 2022. Prior to that, they worked at SpaceX as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer from June to December 2022. At SpaceX, they held various roles, including Sr. Propulsion Engineer from March to May 2022, Sr. Additive Manufacturing Engineer from June 2020 to March 2022, and Additive Manufacturing Engineer from July 2017 to June 2020. Before joining SpaceX, Grady worked at Virginia Tech as a Research Assistant - Turbomachinery and Propulsion Lab from August 2016 to May 2017, and as a Lead Engineer - Dream Machine from August 2016 to May 2017. Grady also had an internship at SpaceX as a Propulsion Intern, Liquid Engine Development from August 2015 to July 2016, and worked as a Research Assistant - DREAMS Lab at Virginia Tech from January 2015 to August 2015. Grady's earliest experience was as a Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh from December 2014 to January 2015.
Grady Wagner attended Virginia Tech from 2012 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2014, they also participated in a study abroad program at Griffith University, focusing on Mechanical Engineering.
