Isabel Soto

Isabel Soto is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in the biotechnology and biomedical fields. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Freenome since July 2020, Isabel has previously held significant positions including Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist at Roche from June 2018 to July 2020, and Associate Scientist and Senior Research Associate at Natera from June 2015 to June 2018. Early career experience includes a Research Assistant role at Cornell University from January 2013 to May 2015, where important projects included expressing a Norovirus virus-like particle displaying the malaria antigen pfs25 and developing a recombinant protein for VX nerve agent detection. Isabel holds a Master of Engineering in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering, both from Cornell University.
