Melissa S. Gonzales

Melissa S. Gonzales, PhD has a diverse range of work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Melissa S. started their career as a Regional Medical Liaison at Sanofi aventis in 2005. Melissa S. then transitioned to Genentech in 2007, where they held various roles including Oncology Senior Medical Science Liaison, Breast Cancer Disease Specialist, Perjeta Medical Science Director, Manager of Payer Value Programs, Managed Care Medical Lead for Genentech engagement with Kaiser Permanente, and Managed Care Liaison Field Manager. In 2020, they became the External Partnering, Chief Diversity Office at Genentech. In 2021, they joined Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. as the National Director, Hematology MSL Team and later became the Sr. Director of Field Medical. Most recently, they joined Freenome in 2023 as the Sr Director, Field Medical.
