Shilpa Choudhury

Shilpa Choudhury is a Senior Scientist I at Freenome since April 2021. Prior to this, Shilpa worked as a Scientist at Genentech from October 2018 to April 2021. Before that, Shilpa was a Post Doc at Georgia Institute of Technology from August 2012 to July 2018, where Shilpa also completed their Ph.D. in Biology. Shilpa also has experience as a Research Project Assistant at Institute Of Microbial Technology, where Shilpa successfully engineered the vinca alkaloid metabolic pathway of a plant into yeast and bacteria to reduce production costs. Shilpa holds a Master's Degree in Biotechnology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences and a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology from Delhi University.
