Tom Gibes has a diverse work experience in the field of business intelligence. Tom is currently working as the Business Intelligence Lead at Freeosk since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Kohl's for six years, starting as a Quality Assurance Lead at Volition from September 2007 to July 2009. Tom then became a Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology from October 2009 to May 2011. Subsequently, Tom worked as a Business Intelligence Consultant at ProMorphics from August 2011 to October 2014 where they developed executive finance dashboards for Anheuser-Busch and a custom web-based sustainability dashboard for PwC. Tom then joined Mikan Associates as a Business Intelligence Consultant from January 2015 to April 2015. At Kohl's, Tom held various roles, including Senior Business Intelligence Analyst from May 2015 to September 2018, where they were responsible for designing and deploying dashboards and automated tools for customer reporting and department-level visibility. Tom later served as the Manager of Marketing Business Intelligence from October 2018 to October 2021, where they led the formation of a new business intelligence team and developed enterprise-level customer and product dashboards.
Tom Gibes earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Northwestern University between 1999 and 2005. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Digital Media from the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2011.
