Andres Gonzalez

Andres Gonzalez has extensive experience in contracts management, currently serving as the Director of Contracts at Freeport-McMoRan since November 2010. In this role, Andres oversees contracts management teams for multimillion and mega projects across North America, South America, and Asia, managing the full-cycle commercial contracting process from planning through project closeout. Prior roles at Freeport-McMoRan include Global Contracts Manager and North & South America Contracts Manager, where Andres implemented significant corporate initiatives that standardized contract management practices. Previous experience includes co-founding H&G Construction Concepts and working in procurement and project management at Chevron and Nordahl Homes Inc. Andres holds various educational qualifications in civil engineering, business administration, and project management from prestigious institutions such as Harvard and the University of Arizona.
