Jeb Curtis is a seasoned mining engineer with extensive experience in both operational and technical roles within the mining industry. Currently serving as a Senior Mine Engineer in Long Range Planning at Freeport-McMoRan since March 2018, Jeb is responsible for quarterly forecasts and mine planning related to shovels and stockpiles, while also overseeing mining projects and mentoring junior engineers. Prior to this, Jeb spent five years at Hexagon Mining as a MineSight Specialist, focusing on training and client support for long-term planning in both open pit and underground operations. Jeb's career began with various internships and labor roles at Freeport-McMoRan and ASARCO, providing a solid foundation in mining engineering and operations. Jeb holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from the University of Arizona and an Associate's degree in Pre-Engineering from Eastern Arizona College.
