Michael Harlan

Michael Harlan is a seasoned Senior Metallurgist at Freeport-McMoRan, with a career that includes key roles such as Superintendent of Electrowinning and Electrowinning Foreman at American Zinc Products. Prior experience at Freeport-McMoRan involved supervisory and metallurgical responsibilities related to Molybdenum Processing. Michael's foundation in metallurgy began with internships at Stillwater Mining Company and EFG America, LLC, where optimization of equipment and processes was a focus. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines, complemented by dual Master’s degrees in Leadership and Business Administration from Grand Canyon University.
