Priyanshu Raj

Priyanshu Raj is a Senior Mining Engineer at Freeport-McMoRan, with experience since May 2018 in conducting pre-feasibility studies, mine design updates, and optimization of mining operations across North and South America. Prior roles include Mining Engineer II and Mining Engineer I, focusing on safety improvements, operational efficiencies, and mine ventilation designs. With a foundation in engineering internships and project roles at Vedanta Resources Limited and South Eastern Coalfields Limited, Priyanshu has demonstrated expertise in project development and cost control. Priyanshu holds a Master's degree in Geotechnical and Mining Engineering from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor's degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology. Additionally, Priyanshu served as Vice President of Marketing for the SME Student Chapter at the University of Arizona.
