Adam Payne

Adam Payne, P.E., CCM, currently serves as the Construction Services Group Manager for the North Texas Division at Freese and Nichols, overseeing a team of 70 professionals in construction management and support across various projects, including water and wastewater treatment, transportation, and municipal facilities. Previously, Adam held roles as Program Management Group Manager and Program Construction Manager at Freese and Nichols, managing diverse programs and large water resources initiatives. With earlier experience as a Construction Management Practice Leader and Construction Manager, Adam has played key roles in civil engineering projects, including wastewater treatment plants and water line improvements. Prior to Freese and Nichols, Adam served as a Field Artillery Officer in the U.S. Army and gained early experience as a summer intern at Joeris General Contractors. Adam earned a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science from Texas A&M University and a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida.
