Amy Byland Pe

Amy Byland, PE has a diverse work experience in the field of civil engineering, with a focus on water and wastewater engineering. Amy is currently employed at Freese and Nichols as a Water and Wastewater Engineer. Prior to this, they worked at Lockwood, Andrews and Newnam, Inc. as a Lead Hydraulic Engineer from November 2015 to August 2022. Amy also has experience as a Graduate Student at Rice University from August 2012 to October 2015. Amy started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Southern Methodist University from September 2009 to December 2012. Amy also worked as an Intern at Freese and Nichols from September 2010 to August 2011, where they gained experience in construction management and database management.

Amy Byland, PE completed their education in Environmental Engineering. Amy obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Southern Methodist University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Amy then attended Rice University from 2012 to 2015, focusing on Environmental Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, Amy obtained their EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers in May 2012. Later, in January 2019, they obtained their PE (Professional Engineer) certification from the same board.
