Andrea Druhot, PE, has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Andrea is currently working at Freese and Nichols as an Engineer IV in Water/Wastewater Master Planning since June 2021. Prior to that, they were an Engineer III in the same field from March 2019 to June 2021.
Before joining Freese and Nichols, Andrea worked as a Transportation Engineer specializing in stormwater at Arcadis from October 2017 to February 2019. Andrea also gained experience as an Engineer Intern in the Water Group at McKim & Creed, Inc. from January 2017 to September 2017. Additionally, they worked as an Engineer Intern at American States Utility Services, Inc. from May 2016 to August 2016.
Furthermore, Andrea has also had roles outside of engineering. Andrea worked as a Business and Entrepreneurship Intern at Kalu Yala from May 2015 to July 2015. Andrea also gained research experience as an Undergraduate Research Intern at Argonne National Laboratory from May 2014 to August 2014. Prior to that, they worked as a Camp Counselor at Chicago Zoological Society/Brookfield Zoo from May 2013 to December 2013 and as a Seasonal Zookeeper from June to August 2012 at the same organization.
Andrea Druhot, PE completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. In 2014, they also participated in Hispanic Studies at the Universidad de Granada. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Stamps Leadership Scholar from the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation, Inc., and as a Wilderness First Responder from the SOLO Wilderness Medical School.
