Darpan Chorghe, PE has a diverse work experience in engineering. Darpan started their career in 2013 as an engineering intern at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, where they studied the effect of natural gas hydrate formation and its inhibition in an oil pipeline. In 2014, they worked as an engineering intern at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, where they were involved in controlling the PUREX process for fuel fabrication.
In 2016, Darpan joined Texas A&M University as a graduate research assistant, collaborating with Dr. Shankaraman Chellam on research work. Darpan conducted literature reviews, experiments, and assisted fellow PhD students in setting up experiments. During this time, they also wrote a chapter for a book on the treatment of hydraulic fractured water. Additionally, they worked as a student technician at the Industrial Assessment Center at Texas A&M University, where they audited companies for energy consumption and recommended proposals for energy reduction and waste reduction.
Since 2017, Darpan has been employed at Freese and Nichols as an Engineer IV. Their current role and responsibilities are not specified.
Darpan Chorghe, PE obtained a Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering from Texas A&M University, graduating in 2017. Prior to that, Darpan Chorghe, PE completed a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Chemical Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, graduating in 2015.
