Joseph Waring

Joseph Waring is a Senior Project Manager at Freese and Nichols, a position held since April 2015, focusing on design, construction, and marketing. Prior to this role, Joseph worked at TxDOT from June 2008 to March 2015 as a Transportation Engineer, where responsibilities included designing Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) and conducting quality control/quality assurance reviews. Joseph's tenure at TxDOT also included roles as an Assistant Area Engineer from October 1987 to 2008, overseeing numerous construction projects with a maintenance budget of $200 million, and as a Design Supervisor/Project Engineer, supervising design sections and managing construction projects. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Lamar University, obtained between 1982 and 1987.
