Tom Blaney

Water Resources Engineer I at Freese And Nichols, Inc.

Tom Blaney started their work experience in 2016 as an Engineering Mechanics Tutor at The University of Texas at Austin, where they worked until 2018. In 2016, they also worked as an Engineering Tech IV at the Texas Department of Transportation, inspecting road construction and conducting various tests in the field and lab. In 2017, Tom worked as an Engineering Tech/Intern at BGE, Inc., assisting with design plans, research, and other office tasks related to water and wastewater systems. In 2020, they joined Freese and Nichols as a Water Resources Engineer I.

Tom Blaney attended Prosper High School from 2010 to 2014, where they pursued the Distinguished Achievement Program. Tom then went on to receive their Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, graduating in 2018. Following that, Tom pursued a Master of Science in Civil Engineering at Rice University, completing their degree in 2020.
