Wendy Bonneau has over 26 years of work experience in urban planning and design. Wendy started their career at FDS International as a Planner in 1994 and worked there until 1996. Wendy then joined Gideon Toal as a Project Manager of Urban Design from 1996 to 2004. Since 2004, Wendy has been working at Freese and Nichols, where they currently hold the position of Vice President/Practice Leader of Urban Planning + Design.

Wendy Bonneau, FAICP, obtained a Bachelor of Environmental Design degree in Architecture from Texas A&M University, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Wendy is also certified as a Fellow of the American Institute of Certified Planners (FAICP) by the American Planning Association, which they achieved in November 2020. In addition, they hold the certification of American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), although information regarding the institution and specific dates of attainment is not provided.
