Nicholas Wisseman

Nicholas Wisseman has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Nicholas currently serves as the Director of Instructional Design at Freethink since January 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Instructional Designer and Instructional Designer at Freethink from March 2022 to December 2022 and March 2021 to March 2022, respectively.

Nicholas also has experience as a self-employed author since January 2004. Nicholas worked as a Content Writer at Albert | Learn By Doing from August 2019 to March 2021.

In addition, Nicholas served as an Instructional Designer at Pansophic Learning / Capital Education from September 2014 to March 2021. Before that, they held the positions of Learning Solutions Architect and Content Developer at NIIT / Cognitive Arts from June 2010 to September 2014 and August 2007 to June 2010, respectively.

Nicholas started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Northwestern University from January 2007 to June 2007. Nicholas also worked as a Program Specialist at Magdala Foundation from February 2004 to June 2005. Prior to that, they held positions as an Afterschool Assistant at Ladue Middle School and an Instructor at Kaplan Test Prep from October 2003 to June 2005 and September 2003 to June 2005, respectively.

Lastly, Nicholas began their professional journey as a Registration Assistant at Spurlock Museum from September 2001 to July 2003.

Nicholas Wisseman earned their High School Diploma from University Laboratory High School in 1999. Nicholas then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology/History from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they completed in 2003. Nicholas furthered their education by obtaining a Master's degree in History from Northwestern University in 2007.
