Justin Mercado

Justin Mercado has a diverse range of work experience. Justin worked as an Analytical Laboratory Scientist at FreeThink Technologies, Inc starting in July 2020. Previously, they were a Research Assistant at Fairfield University Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry from September 2018 to May 2020. In this role, they conducted experiments and tested biomolecules using specialized instruments. Justin also served as a Chemistry Stockroom Assistant during the same time, where they prepared solutions and gained familiarity with various lab instruments. Justin also had a Summer Internship at COMPLETE ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING, INC. in 2018, where they performed environmental analysis and learned to operate analytical instruments. Additionally, they worked as a New Student Leader at Fairfield University in 2017, facilitating orientations, teaching college life techniques to first-year students, and holding a semester-long class to assist with campus living challenges.
