Johann Biais

Johann Biais has extensive work experience in finance and management roles. Johann is currently the Head of Finance at Freeverse.io since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Finance at BetWarrior from August 2019 to July 2022.

From 2015 to 2019, Johann served as the Regional Financial Manager at Mantu, where they were responsible for overseeing financial operations in various geographical areas and managing a team. Additionally, they were the Financial & Administrative Manager at Mantu from February 2015 to December 2016.

Before joining Mantu, Johann worked briefly at Lagardère as an Attaché to the Group Chief Financial Officer in 2014. Johann also gained experience as a Private Equity Analyst at Turenne Capital from December 2012 to June 2013 and as an Institutional Marketing Officer at HSBC Global Asset Management from June 2012 to November 2012.

Johann's early career includes roles such as Secretary General and Head of Partnerships at L'Agora - Tribune Étudiante de l'EDHEC from June 2011 to May 2012, Assistant Project Manager at Syndic+ in June 2011, and volunteer work at American Red Cross in June 2008.

Throughout their career, Johann has showcased their expertise in finance, team management, and strategic planning, contributing to the success of the organizations they worked for.

Johann Biais attended EDHEC Business School from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Master's degree in Management, Accounting, and Finance. In 2013 to 2014, they also pursued a Master 2 program at Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México. Prior to this, from 2008 to 2010, Johann completed their Classe Préparatoire HEC voie scientifique at Lycée Chateaubriand. Johann began their educational journey at Lycée Sévigné, where they earned their Baccalauréat Scientifique with a specialization in Mathematics in 2008.
