James Wattley Carras

James Wattley Carras has over 10 years of work experience in a variety of roles. In 2021, they began working as the Partnerships Lead at FreeWill. From 2016 to 2021, they worked at the University of Miami as the Assistant Development Director of Major Gifts for the College of Engineering and the Development Director of Annual Giving for the University of Miami Alumni Association. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as the Development Director of Parish & Donor Relations at the Orthodox Christian Network (OCN). In 2014, they worked as a Field Organizer at the Florida Democratic Party and as a District Intern for Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz at the U.S. House of Representatives. In 2013, they worked as a Fenway Park Tour Guide for the Boston Red Sox. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as the Social Media Manager at the Orthodox Christian Network (OCN). From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Staff Photographer at The Daily Tar Heel.

James Wattley Carras has a diverse educational background. James Wattley obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2014, with a minor in Entrepreneurship. In 2012, they participated in the Summer Scholars Program at Peking University. James Wattley also attended St Thomas Aquinas High School from 2006 to 2010. In 2018, Carras completed a Master of Science in Management Studies from the University of Miami Herbert Business School. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Ken Blanchard on Servant Leadership from LinkedIn in October 2020, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from Broward College in January 2020, and a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from Harvard Extension School.
