Connor Botkin

Connor Botkin has an extensive work history with experience in various roles in the fields of marketing, energy technology, and research. Connor has been working at FreeWire Technologies since January 2019, starting as a Product Marketing Manager and later progressing to a Senior Marketing Manager and currently serving as the Marketing Director. At FreeWire, they have excelled in team expansion, cross-functional collaboration, and efficient budget management. Connor played a key role in driving growth by launching innovative hardware and software solutions and elevating brand recognition.

Connor also worked at Bloom Energy as a Senior Marketing Associate from September 2017 to January 2019. During their time there, they gained IPO experience and managed marketing campaigns while collaborating with sales and utilizing Salesforce and digital marketing tools.

Before that, Connor worked at Picarro, Inc. in multiple roles. Connor served as a Field Application Engineer from April 2015 to September 2017, where they facilitated product integration with clients and managed key customer relationships. Prior to that, they were an Applications Specialist from February 2014 to April 2015, where they provided software development support and conducted policy and market research.

Connor's early work experience includes being a Research Intern at Picarro, Inc. (October 2013 - November 2013), a Project Consultant at BBC Voices (October 2012 - April 2013), a Health, Water, and Sanitation Specialist in the Peace Corps (June 2010 - July 2012), and Founder and President of the CU Medical Branch at Global Brigades, Inc. (January 2009 - May 2010).

Throughout their career, Connor has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to foster collaboration across teams.

Connor Botkin completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado Boulder from 2006 to 2010. Connor further pursued their education by obtaining a Master's degree in Climate Change and International Development from the University of East Anglia, during the period of 2012 to 2013.
