Kristina Holt's work experience begins in 2004 when they started working as a Senior Legal Adviser (financial services) at HM Treasury. Kristina then moved on to HM Revenue & Customs in 2007, where they worked as a Senior Legal Adviser (business tax) until 2009. Following that, they joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office as a Senior Legal Advisor (Cyber/Sanctions) and worked there until 2014. From 2014 to 2016, Kristina worked at the Financial Conduct Authority as a Senior Associate in financial services/information law. In 2016, they took on the role of Senior Associate at Pinsent Masons, where they worked until 2018. Kristina then worked at Barclays as Vice President, Data Privacy Legal Counsel from 2017 to 2020. Kristina joined Danske Bank in 2018 as Deputy DPO and worked there until 2021. Most recently, Kristina worked at Durham University, holding the positions of Data Protection Officer & Head of Information Governance from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they are a Cyber Security Principal Lawyer at the Information Commissioner's Office.
Kristina Holt obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Law from the University of Oxford in 2001. Following this, they pursued their legal studies further at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice, completing a Diploma in Law in 2002.
