Adrian Cartier, PhD has a wealth of experience in data science and analytics. In 2020, they co-founded Freight Science as the Chief Data Officer and became a Data Science Advisor and Vice President of Data Science at Ocelot Consulting. In 2019, they were the AVP of Data Science at Enterprise Holdings. From 2014 to 2019, they were the Director and Science Fellow of Data Science and Engineering at Bayer, Analytics Research Lead at The Climate Corporation, and Geospatial Analytics Lead (Algorithm Research) at Monsanto Company. From 2008 to 2011, they were an Assistant Professor Of Mathematics at the University of Montevallo, Analytics Consultant at CE Outcomes, LLC, Founder and Principal at WEC Analysis Group, LLC, and Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Mississippi.

Adrian Cartier, PhD began their educational journey in 1995 at the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science, where they earned their High School Diploma in 1997. Adrian then attended the University of Mississippi, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics in 2002. That same year, they also obtained a Language Certificate from the Goethe-Institut in German. In 2005, they were a Visiting Scholar at the University of Texas at San Antonio in Mathematics. Finally, in 2006, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics (Topological Group Theory) from the University of Mississippi. In December 2022, they obtained an Academy Accreditation - Databricks Lakehouse Fundamentals from Databricks.
