Gregory Josephson

Gregory Josephson has over 27 years of experience in the freight car industry. Gregory has served as Vice President of Engineering and Vice President of New Product Development Engineering at FreightCar America, Inc. In these roles, they were responsible for various engineering activities, including production, new product development, and cost reduction initiatives. Gregory also oversaw prototyping of railcars and ensured new products were production-ready and cost competitive. Prior to this, Gregory Josephson held positions such as Senior Manager of New Product Development, Senior Project Engineer, Project Engineer, CAD Supervisor, and Drafter at FreightCar America, Inc., where they mentored junior team members and managed staff. Gregory also has experience as a CAD Instructor at Cambria County Area Community College and a Computer Aided Design Operator at R. T. Patterson Company.

Gregory Josephson earned an Associate's degree in CADD - Computer Aided Drafting and Design from Pittsburgh Technical College in 1992-1994. Gregory then pursued further education at the same institution and obtained another Associate's degree in CADD Computer Systems Management in 1994. Subsequently, Gregory attended the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown from 1999 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
