Job Summary
Help build next generation web and mobile applications to transform the transportation industry. In this role, you will be responsible for business analysis, data analytics, and solution development on one or more strategic Client accounts and be a technical advisor for our Global Enterprise Customers on their connected Supply Chain and Logistics digital transformation projects.
Note: This position is located in Ann Arbor, MI and requires onsite work.
Primary Responsibilities:
Customer-facing business process expert on Client platform
Act as a subject matter expert in the area of supply chain to provide a high level of guidance for the development team
Collaborate with business partners and customers to contribute to the product vision, roadmap, and comprehensive business requirements
Work directly with business and technical customer resources on requirements gathering, technical design and customer success metrics for Client solution Scope technical work for implementation team, prioritizing customer requirements and dependencies
Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
Developing product specifications and requirements with strong collaboration with the Engineering team on providing voice of the customer feedback into the product
Communication and documentation to be used by all stakeholders to understand platform features, functions, delivery status, and value
Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports
Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support your recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes
Work closely with Customer Facing Lead to drive production adoption and value creation within responsible accounts
Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
Strong collaboration with the Sales team on providing product values stories and building solution prototypes for proof of value demonstrations
Develop innovative solution and service offerings based on industry and Client best practices to help grow revenue and customer value
Constructs workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications Ensure on-going customer success and customer expansion by driving achievement of post-launch KPIs and customer value
Determines operational objectives by studying Client business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and product feature needs
Provide a high level of transparency and communication across the organization
Recommend system enhancements based on business need and maintain positive customer relationships
Contribute to the design, development, and planning for technology enhancements to solve complex business problems
Qualifications
A vital part of the role’s competence is communication
Preferred 5+ years of experience in Customer Facing Technical Consulting with Enterprise Level Customers (Automotive Preferred)
Outstanding written and verbal ability, with both business and technical stakeholders
Demonstrated experience with technical projects and system implementations
Proven skill with verbal and written communication with both business and technical contacts
Preferred experience with IoT related projects
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or other related preferred
Specific expertise and practice of designing, describing, and managing the solution engineering in relation to specific business problems
Can adequately describes how different components of business, information, and technology architectures are used in a solution; bridges the gap between business problems and technology solutions
Experience and practice building process workflows, writing business and technical requirements, and communication of business results with given timeframes and resources
