Ryan Darnell

Ryan Darnell has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Ryan began their career as an Industrial Engineer at Delphi from August 1998 to December 1999. Following that, they worked as a Financial Planner at American Express from January 2000 to May 2002.

Ryan then joined General Motors as an Industrial Engineer from August 2002 to June 2006. During their time there, they played a key role in identifying waste and implementing cost-saving measures. Ryan also supported the successful launch of new foundry operations and participated in various improvement initiatives.

From August 2006 to January 2009, Ryan worked at Tower Automotive as a Continuous Improvement Manager and Black Belt. Ryan was responsible for implementing the Tower Production System and managing the annual plant productivity budget. Their efforts resulted in three years of successful budget attainment.

Ryan then worked at American Medical Systems from February 2009 to December 2012 as a Manager of Continuous Improvement and Business Processes. In this role, Ryan focused on process improvement and streamlining business operations.

From January 2013 to January 2016, Ryan served as a Program Manager at Autogenix & Entourage Logistics. Ryan led the design, engineering, and installation of automated packaging systems, resulting in significant labor savings.

Ryan later joined Applied Manufacturing Technologies in January 2016 as a Project Manager, specializing in advanced manufacturing engineering. Ryan then joined Additive Innovations, Inc. (Startup) in June 2016 as a Project Manager and Project Engineer, where they were involved in managing projects and overseeing engineering processes.

Most recently, Ryan joined FreightVerify Inc. in June 2019 as a Business Development and Process Engineering professional.

Ryan Darnell obtained their high school diploma from Brighton High School from 1989 to 1993. Ryan then attended Northern Michigan University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Technology from 1993 to 1998.

In addition to their formal education, Ryan Darnell has obtained several certifications. In 2008, they received a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma from Lean Multiplier Strategies. In 2000, they obtained the Series 24 - General Securities Principal, Series 63 - Uniform Securities Agent License, and Series 7 - General Securities Representative License from the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD).
