Matt Snelson

Matt Snelson has over two decades of law enforcement experience, currently serving as a Police Captain at the Fremont Police Department since 2003, with previous roles including Lieutenant, Sergeant, and Officer. In addition to a distinguished career in law enforcement, Matt Snelson has been the President and Board Chair of TCV Food Bank since 2017. Educationally, Matt Snelson is advancing their expertise in criminal justice through the FBI National Academy, pursuing a session in Criminal Justice Education, and a Master’s certificate in Criminal Justice and Corrections from the University of Virginia. Earlier studies were completed at California State University - East Bay and California State University - Hayward, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
