Jimmy Ray

Jimmy Ray is currently the Vice President at French Broad Electric Membership Corporation. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Evangelist at Illumio from February 2015 to May 2016. Before that, they were a Technical Marketing Engineer at Cisco from August 2006 to February 2015. Jimmy also worked as a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer at Hewlett-Packard from April 2000 to August 2006. Prior to that, they were a Senior Network Engineer at Entre PCS from January 1998 to April 2000.

Jimmy Ray has a Doctor of Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, a Master of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, and a BSEE from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Jimmy is certified by the Mentor Collective as a Trained Mentor, by Hewlett-Packard as a Master ASE, by SCO as an SCO ACE, by Cisco as a CCNP R/S, by (ISC)² as a CISSP, by Novell as an MCNE, by Microsoft as a Microsoft Certified Trainer, and by Microsoft as an MCSE+I. Jimmy is also certified by the US Department of Labor as a Journeyman Electronics Mechanic and by the US Navy as Honorably Discharged.
