Laura Reid

Laura Reid, MSW, MSEd, currently serves as a Family Advocacy Program Specialist at French Consulting, providing support for domestic and intimate partner abuse cases within military-connected populations. In addition to this role, Laura founded the #MakeMacroMatter Project, which aims to assist macro social workers, and works as a Gender Leader at The Bloom, promoting social impact initiatives. Previous experience includes advocacy at FeM Mädchen*haus Frankfurt, peer health education at Albert Schweitzer Fellowship, refugee resettlement support at YMCA International Services, and teaching with Teach For America. Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas A&M University, a Master of Social Work from the University of Houston, and a Master of Science in Education from The Johns Hopkins University.
