Marcel Slot has more than 30 years of work experience in various roles related to technology and engineering. Marcel is currently serving as the Vice President of Technology & Engineering at Frencken Europe B.V. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Technology Planning at Canon Production Printing from 2020 to 2021. Marcel also has a long-standing history with Océ - A Canon Company, where they held different positions such as Director of Technology Planning & Partnerships, Vice President of Development R&D, Director of the research department, and Project Leader. Marcel was also a Vice President of the Board of Directors at the Society for Imaging Science and Technology (IS&T) from 2009 to 2014. Marcel Slot's expertise lies in project management, research, development, and technology planning in the printing industry.
Marcel Slot completed their MSc in Physics at the University of Twente from 1985 to 1990. Prior to that, they attended scholengemeenschap zuid from 1979 to 1985. Marcel also completed their primary education at Basisschool.
