Michael McHugh

Michael McHugh is an accomplished organisational capability manager with extensive leadership development experience, currently at Freo Group Pty Ltd since April 2023. Previous roles include serving as a business partner for leadership development programs at Rio Tinto, where significant initiatives were implemented for 2,500 leaders. As managing director and learning and development manager at the Future Institute of Australia, Michael co-founded the RTO and developed tailored training solutions, achieving substantial business growth. Additional experience includes general management at Student Edge, relationship management at WA Business News, and regional management at Amart Furniture, where Michael led substantial expansions and operational improvements. Michael holds an MBA and various certifications in business management and leadership.
