Josie Landon

Josie Landon is an experienced professional in the food science industry, currently serving as RQI Manager and Senior Food Scientist at Fresca Tortillas, a position held since January 2022. In addition to this role, Josie is the Business Owner of Forged By Josie, specializing in handmade gifts and personalized items since January 2021. Previously, Josie worked as a Senior Sensory Scientist at J.R. Simplot Company from June 2015 to December 2021 and as a Food Technologist at HJ Heinz from March 2010 to June 2015, focusing on the development of potato products. Earlier in the career, Josie held roles as Media Specialist for the Intermountain Section of the Institute of Food Technologists and as a Research Associate at Basic American Foods. Josie holds a Master’s degree in Food Science from Washington State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Idaho State University.
