Regan Burns has been working in the food media industry since 2005. Regan started as an Editorial Assistant at CBS Interactive for CHOW.com (Chowhound). In 2007, they moved to Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia as a Food Editor, Digital. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as a Content Creator, Editor and Strategist for Digital Food Media at Regan Burns Cafiso LLC. During this time, they developed recipes and content for Food Network, Chowhound, Martha Stewart, Yahoo & cookbooks, and managed large site and marketing projects for iVillage, Scripps (Food Network, uLive), General Mills & CNET. In 2015, they joined Discovery Inc as a Senior Editor, where they managed the creation and promotion of content for FoodNetwork.com. In 2016, they became the Head of Content and Strategy at Pylon ai, Inc. In 2021, they joined JOKR as Director, Global Onsite, where they oversaw the Onsite function for all JOKR apps and Daki app across 6 teams in 6 countries. Regan also launched a beautiful new personalized, content-focused app (in 2 languages) + custom content management system. In 2021, they also joined SideChef as Director of Content and Media Partnerships. Currently, they are the Global Head of Content at Fresco.
Regan Burns holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from The University of Texas at Austin. In 2020, they completed a Micromasters in Digital Product Management from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. Regan also holds an AOS in Culinary Arts from The Culinary Institute of America. Additionally, they are Serv-Safe Certified.
