Azeen Roohi James

Azeen Roohi James currently serves as the VP, Head of Legal, Business Development and Alliance Management, as well as VP, Chief IP Counsel - Biosimilars US at Fresenius Kabi since February 2020. Prior to this role, Azeen held positions including Associate General Counsel for Intellectual Property at MacroGenics, Inc., Assistant General Counsel for Global IP Biologics at Mylan, and Vice President of Legal - Intellectual Property at Lupin Pharmaceuticals. Azeen's extensive career also features roles as Head of IP for Generics and Biosimilars at Lonza and Principal at A.R. James LLC, along with experience as a Partner at Kenyon & Kenyon and Vice President of Intellectual Property at Barr Laboratories, Inc. Azeen earned a JD from Boston University School of Law, a MS in Organic Chemistry from the University of California, Davis, and a BS in Chemistry from Sonoma State University.
