Bert Egley

Bert Egley is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in research and development, particularly in the medical and analytical instrumentation fields. Since September 2010, Bert has been contributing to Fresenius Medical Care in R&D for dialysis products. Prior to this role, Bert spent four years at Varian Inc., focusing on the design of liquid chromatography and gas chromatography mass spectrometers. Bert's career also includes a decade at Siemens Medical, where the design of radiation therapy machines for oncology was a key responsibility, and over ten years at Systron Donner, specializing in the design of quartz-based accelerometers and gyroscopes. Bert holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
