Ellen Gijsbers

Ellen Gijsbers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the medical technology sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Commercial Business Services at Fresenius Medical Care since March 2010. In this role, Ellen focuses on building health economic and market access services, leading commercial excellence programs, and driving digital transformation in communication. Previously, Ellen held positions as Regional Vice President of Sales and Managing Director for the Netherlands and Belgium-Luxembourg, where responsibility encompassed P/L for 15 countries and strategic optimization of organizational synergies. Ellen's earlier career includes significant roles at Invivo Corporation and Philips, where responsibilities ranged from establishing distribution channels to leading post-merger integrations and managing business segment performance in MRI. Ellen completed a bachelor’s degree at Avans University of Applied Sciences from 1995 to 1999.
