Christine Newkirk

Christine Newkirk has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Christine has worked in various roles and positions at different organizations. Christine began their career in 2005 as a Community Resources Program Manager at the Oregon Human Development Corporation. In this role, they managed federal and state grants and supervised staff members. Christine then joined CDI IT Solutions in 2008, where they worked as a Web Content Coordinator and later as a Web Content Coordinator Lead. Their responsibilities included content project management and coordination for various digital properties. In 2012, they moved to Mercy Corps, where they held multiple positions, including Marketing Project Manager, Senior Marketing Project Manager, Director of Digital Operations and Audience Engagement, and eventually Director of Digital Fundraising. In these roles, they contributed to fundraising and audience engagement strategies using digital platforms. Most recently, Christine joined Project HOPE in 2018, where they have held positions such as Senior Director of Direct Response Marketing and Fundraising, Senior Director of Marketing and Operations, and currently, Senior Director of Operations - Development and Communications. Their extensive experience in operations, marketing, and fundraising makes their a valuable asset in their current position.

Christine Newkirk attended Willamette University from 2003 to 2005 and earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Women's Studies. In 2010, they briefly attended Portland State University where they obtained a Certificate in Project Management.
