Julie Somers

Julie Somers currently serves as the Senior Director and Head of Global Employee Engagement Communications at Fresenius Medical Care since July 2021. Prior to this role, Julie was the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Combined Jewish Philanthropies from February 2013 to March 2021, overseeing strategic branding and advertising initiatives for the largest non-profit in Greater Boston. Julie has also held leadership positions at BJ's Wholesale Club as Vice President of Marketing Communications and earlier as Assistant Vice President of Public Relations and Community Relations, as well as Director of Public Relations at Panera Bread. Educationally, Julie holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Colgate University and has furthered education at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
