Thomas Schönwolf

Thomas Schmelzle is an experienced Industrial Designer currently working at SDI Technologies, Inc. since August 2022. Prior to this role, Thomas served as a Production Designer at Nephros, contributing to the design of medical and commercial filtration materials, as well as employee-related resources. Thomas also held the position of Graphic and Web Designer at Matrix Mirrors, focusing on web page redesign and UI/UX for various platforms. Earlier experience includes working as a Multimedia Studio Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where responsibilities involved managing large format printers, and serving as a Launchpad Lead Student Coordinator, facilitating design expos. In addition, a short-term role as a CAD Modeling Consultant at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta involved instructing on CAD software for prosthetic device design. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Product Design from the Georgia Institute of Technology, complemented by participation in an exchange program at Eindhoven University of Technology.
