Wasi Abidi

Wasi Abidi has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Wasi currently holds the position of VP Cloud Hosting and CTO Transformation at Fresenius Digital Technology. Prior to their current role, they served as the Global Director and Head of EUC and Collaboration Tower at Mondelēz International, where they worked from 2017 to 2023. Wasi also worked as a Vice President for Global Head Voice Infra at Deutsche Bank from 2016 to 2017. Wasi Abidi has had significant experience working at Avaya, where they held multiple leadership positions from 2006 to 2016, including Global Services Leader and Site Lead for Avaya Managed and Cloud Services. Wasi also worked as a Senior Manager for Avaya Cloud and Managed Services. Earlier in their career, Wasi Abidi worked as a Technical Consultant at Aspect Software and as a Software Technology Lead at Gemco Technologies. Wasi started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Vismaya Technologies Bangalore. Throughout their career, Wasi Abidi has demonstrated expertise in various technology domains, such as cloud hosting, enterprise user computing, voice infrastructure, and telecom software development.

Wasi Abidi completed their B.Tech in Computer Science & Engg. from Aligarh Muslim University in the years 1996-2000. Wasi then pursued an EGMP: Executive General Management Program in Business Administration and Management from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore from 2009 to 2010. Later, they attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2012-2013, where they obtained a degree in Executive Leadership and Advanced Management.
