Axel Faupel

Axel Faupel currently serves as the acting Head of Sustainability at Fresenius Kabi since July 2024 and has held the position of Head of ESG Strategy and Director of ESG/Sustainability at Fresenius Group since April 2020. Prior to these roles, Axel Faupel was a Senior Manager in Sustainability Services at PwC Deutschland from May 2011 to April 2020 and worked as a CDM Lead Assessor at SGS from September 2008 to March 2011, focusing on the validation and verification of emission reduction projects within the SGS Climate Change Programme. Axel Faupel holds a Diplom (Master’s Degree) in Geography from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, earned between 2001 and 2007.
